How to find information about your Linux distro


To determine if you are running 32 or 64 bit versions:

Open a terminal window (Applications > Accessories > Terminal) and type
 ”uname -m”

To find the Linux release info and version from a Terminal:
cat /etc/lsb-release

To see the Linux distro number you can navigate to
System, Administration, System Monitor
